Manage Site

 

Using Website Management, you can personalize your site for your marketing purposes.

Click Sales Tools on the main menu and then click the Manage My Site link. On the Manage Site screen, you can enter your site name, upload a personal picture for your site, and set the landing page for your site.

To set up your site:

    Select the site you want to manage from the Select Site to Manage drop-down (if your company has more than one site). Click the tabs for what you want to update on your site:

    Site Name and Domain:

    You can edit the site name in the Site Name textbox. Click the Save Site Name button to save your updates.

    You can purchase a Custom Domain/URL Name from a Domain Vendor and point it to your site. Enter and save the Domain Name you are pointing to your site in the Domain Name Textbox, click the Save Custom Domain button and the Domain Name will be used in any emails where your site URL is merged. Before saving your domain name, check to ensure the Domain forwards to your site as it should. To delete your Domain Name (if you don't have a Domain Name to replace it with), delete the Domain Name in the Domain Name Textbox, and click the Save Custom Domain button.

IMPORTANT NOTE: If you set up a custom domain to forward to your site, be sure to include www. in the URL when you point your domain to your replicated site. If you do not include www. in the URL, video viewing will not be tracked properly when people visit your site using a revisit link.

    You can copy and paste the Direct link to your site's home page if you want to send someone directly to your home page (bypassing the landing page) or if you want to point a domain to the home page.

    Preview Site button: Click this button to go to the home page of your site.

    Landing Pages: This tab will only be available if your site has landing pages.

    If you want a landing page to display for your site:

    Check the Display landing page to your visitors checkbox, and click the Save button.

    Select from the Landing Pages available for your site (if your company offers different landing pages to choose from).

    Click the Save Landing Page Settings button to save your landing page selection.

Note: You can copy and paste the Direct link to any landing page if you want to send someone to a landing page not currently displaying on your site.

    You can set up a landing page to redirect the visitor to an external site. To set up a landing page to redirect to an external site:

a.  Enter the External Site Landing Page Redirect URL in the Landing Page Redirect URL textbox.

b.  Click the Save button. Once the External Site Landing Page Redirect URL is saved, the URL will become available in the Select Redirect Page drop-downs for your landing pages.

c.  Scroll down to the landing page you want to set the Redirect Page for. Select the Landing Page Redirect URL in the Select Redirect Page drop-down.

d.  Click the Save Landing Page Settings button.

Note: If you need to add additional Redirect URLs to the Select Redirect Page drop-downs, click the Add Another Landing Page Redirect URL button, and an additional textbox will appear where you can enter another URL.

    Upload Personal Photo: This tab will only be available if your site has a personal photo. To display a personal picture on your site:

    Click the browse button to locate the picture to upload on your local computer.

    A window will open where you can select the area of the picture that will display. You can move the display area on the picture by dragging the lighted box (that shows the area of the picture that will display). You can also drag a corner of the box to re-size the display area on the picture ). Click the OK button in the window to save the display area selection.

    Click the Save Personal Photo button to upload and save your picture.

    Site Content: This tab will only be available if your site has updatable content. On the Manage Site Content tab, you can update your site content using an HTML Editor. 1.  Select the site page that you want to edit from the drop-down.

2.  Make your edits in the HTML Editor.

3.  Click the Save and Publish button to publish your updates to the live site.

    Advertising Information: This tab contains information about your site URL and ad codes that you can use for Advertising.

    Live Chat: This tab will only be available if your site has Live Chat.

    To enable Live Chat for your site (if your company has Live Chat available on the site), check the Enable Chat in your Website with site visitors checkbox and click the Save Live Chat Settings button.

    You can display your personal photo in the Live Chat window that your Site Visitors use to chat with you. The image should be 70 x 70 pixels in size. Click the browse button to locate the picture to upload on your local computer. Click the Save Live Chat Photo button to upload and save your photo.
